$120/year Annual Membership includes:

• Unlimited 45-minute classic bike rides for a full year and members enjoy free unlocks and ebikes at a discount.
• Ebike parking is free at Capital Bikeshare stations. As a member, you’ll pay $2 for parking your ebike at a public bike rack in the service area. Take as many rides as you want while your membership is active!
• Members pay $0.15 per minute for ebikes. If you need more than 45 minutes on your classic bike ride, pay $0.05 per minute. 
• 24/7 access to thousands of bikes in Washington, DC; Arlington, VA; Alexandria, VA; Montgomery County, MD; Prince George's County, MD; Fairfax County, VA; and the City of Falls Church, VA.

All per minute ride prices are rounded up to the nearest minute.

The fee for a lost or stolen bike is $1,200 (+ tax).

Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel your plan. You can also pause your membership for up to 12 weeks. To do this, open your settings and select your membership. You will see the option to "Pause Plan." Finish pausing your membership by choosing a date (within 12 weeks) for your membership to resume. Keep in mind that you can only pause your membership once per membership cycle.

NOTE: Capital Bikeshare memberships cannot be shared and are not transferable, per the user agreement that you consented to when signing up.

If we suspect any account sharing, your Capital Bikeshare membership will be suspended without a refund.
