Annual and Monthly Memberships
Capital Bikeshare Annual Memberships renew automatically one year after the purchase date. Capital Bikeshare 30-Day Memberships will not renew automatically when you sign up.
To cancel your Capital Bikeshare Annual Membership, go to Menu > Select your membership > Manage plan > Cancel plan. Your membership perks will continue until the end of your current billing cycle, but you will not be charged moving forward.
Annual members are eligible for a refund of their membership fee if requested within 14 days of the original purchase or renewal date. A refund will immediately end your membership perks. We do not refund or credit for partially used memberships beyond the first 14 days.
Canceling your 30-Day Membership does not issue a refund for the membership. We will issue a full refund of the membership if the membership has not yet been used after purchasing.

Corporate Memberships
Capital Bikeshare’s Corporate Program Memberships are good for one year, but do not renew automatically. If you need to renew a membership into your company’s program, wait until your current membership expires, then work with your employer to receive a new promo code to sign-up for the membership again.
If an employee leaves the company, there is no action required by the program manager. The employee’s membership will still be good for a full year, but they will be responsible for renewing into a regular Annual Membership.

Capital Bikeshare for All and Community Pass
Capital Bikeshare for All memberships are good for one year, but do not renew automatically. To continue your membership after it expires, you’ll need to renew it manually through your Capital Bikeshare account.
If you wish to cancel your membership before it expires, please let us know using this form.
Additionally, Community Pass members may cancel or manage their membership in the “Settings” tab of the Lyft app. If you cancel your membership, you will receive a confirmation message. You can also cancel on the Lyft website by logging into your Lyft account.
To reactivate your membership, just visit the “Settings” tab of the Lyft app.
Community Pass will renew automatically every month for one year. After one year has passed, you will need to renew your membership through your Lyft account.
