We have transitioned to a per-minute pricing structure to give riders more freedom when deciding how long they want to pedal!

If you have a membership through Capital Bikeshare for All, your ride is covered for the first 60 minutes.

Annual and 30-Day members are allowed unlimited 45-minute classic bike rides. After the included 45 minutes, members are charged $0.05 per minute.

Single trips and Day passes are $1 to unlock a classic bike or ebike. Once unlocked, start pedaling with a classic bike for $0.05 per minute or an ebike for $0.15 per minute. All per minute ride prices are rounded up to the nearest minute.

A ride timer on the mobile app keeps track of how long you’ve had a bike out. You must be logged in to the mobile app to use this feature. The timer automatically starts when you undock a bike and stops when you securely lock it. To help make sure everyone gets a chance to ride, there is a 2-minute waiting period between rides (from the time you dock a bike until the time you can take out a bike. Don't forget to check for a green light when you lock up your bike!
